It was a dream of an experienced team of doctors who has been serving the people of lower Assam under the leadership of Dr. Tapan Deka for last 40 years and more, to initiate a change towards the healthcare sector of Nalbari and entire lower Assam. Though Guwahati has always been the central hub for all the industries including health of entire North- East India, yet the health sector of lower Assam was suffering from ages due to poor communication system and underdeveloped infrastructure. Other than one or two exceptions lower Assam never had a standard medical facility. Nalbari maternity Hospital was one among those exceptions but it is a specialised hospital dedicated to Gynaecology and Neonatology. Sarathi – Nalbari Multi speciality Hospital or simply Sarathi Hospital is an initiative by Nalbari Maternity Hospital to deliver a full equipped multi specialty healthcare facility to the people. With years long service experiences of this team, have helped them to construct a hospital keeping in mind about the requirements that they felt lacking in all those years in lower Assam. In 2018 Sarathi Hospital started its operation and it already has started to prove itself as one of the best hospital in Assam. Sarathi Hospital is a unique example of a newly developed hospital owned by a management having experience for more than 40 years.
